Get Planning in 2018: Old School Planners

I am old school when it comes to planners. There is something I love about old school planners and agendas. There is just something about the idea of taking ink to page – something nostalgic that I love. Moreover I have spent years looking for the best ones – I have tried them all and was a hardcore Moleskine. But I never really liked the layout of their agendas ever since they changed its layout a few years back. If you are like me and opt for a paper agenda, here are my two favs for 2018.

12 Month Happiness Planner

This one may seem a bit too cheesy for some but it actually works. The 2018 12-Month Happiness Planner is a planner like no other. Instead of focusing on productivity, it focuses on “your happiness”. It is designed to help you cultivate happiness and foster personal growth by embracing the power of positive thinking, mindfulness, gratitude, and self-development. On top of the typical daily pages, this planner is packed with questions and guides that help you become a happier and more positive person. Coil binding.  Available in multiple colours – midnight, pink or black.  $62.99 CDN available via Indigo Chapters.

The 2018 Daily Diary from T Cool Hunter

I choose this one because I love the design and the layout – and that it feels like a brick. Perfect for a desktop but perhaps not for travel. I love the fabric cover and the font. It has great monthly overviews and a full page per day. This is a great option for those with a packed day. Available only in black – as it should be. Traditional book binding. Comes with a free complimentary bullet pen. $49 USD via The Cool Hunter.

Christian has been a cultural and style junkie since the age of 6; while most kids were swiping cookies, he was swiping his grandfathers' Patek Philippe. Raised to appreciate art, fashion, design and  literature (yeah, this one actually reads) by a single mother fondly called Jackie-O. Christian quickly went from childhood cultural capital thief to academia protégé. Referred to as the cat's meow by some, too clever by half by others, Christian eschewed the academic life and ran away to join the circus -the fashion circus. Several well-appointed positions later and a career on the rise would be most people's dream but it was time to say fuck off and start all over again.

This is Christian Dare Unedited.
