I must admit that I was not always a denim person – in fact, I didn’t wear jeans until into my 20s. And now denim has become wardrobe staple in my life – tops, bottoms, jackets, etc.
When it comes to classic American denim, Levi’s is undoubtedly the icon in the business. And their vintage is just as popular, if not more so, than they are latest styles. In an attempt to meet customer demand ( at least in NYC) , they have opened a store in Williamsburg. This 3,000-square-foot location will also include a service that is exclusive to a select few Levi’s stores: a tailoring shop where you’ll be able to customize your denim.
The store will also carry a selection of authorized refurbished items from their ultra-limited Levi’s® Authorized Vintage collection. These garments date from the 1960s through 1990s, and have been painstakingly doctored back to their former glory. What is old is always new again.
