Lacoste-L12-Racket-11-960x640

As someone who started playing competitive tennis by age 8, I owe a great deal of debt to René Lacoste and I didn’t even know it. Did you know he invented the tennis ball machine? Exactly, bow down.

Lacoste has gone back to their innovative roots with the limited edition L12 racket. This racquet took over three years of research to discover the unique combination of graphite and wood. It is not only sleek and sexy but tech savvy. The combination of old and new school materials results in a strong, stable, durable piece of equipment promising better control and ball speed. Each piece takes five hours to produce by a single craftsman in Albertville,France. Be sure to snap up one of the beauties as they are limited to only 650 units.

Christian has been a cultural and style junkie since the age of 6; while most kids were swiping cookies, he was swiping his grandfathers' Patek Philippe. Raised to appreciate art, fashion, design and  literature (yeah, this one actually reads) by a single mother fondly called Jackie-O. Christian quickly went from childhood cultural capital thief to academia protégé. Referred to as the cat's meow by some, too clever by half by others, Christian eschewed the academic life and ran away to join the circus -the fashion circus. Several well-appointed positions later and a career on the rise would be most people's dream but it was time to say fuck off and start all over again.

This is Christian Dare Unedited.
