The No 25 Briefcase from Passavant and Lee is a thing of beauty. This is what understated luxury looks like – no flashy logo, no flashy branding. In fact, you probably have never even heard of this company and that’s adds to its luxury. This is a beautiful briefcase. I know I often drop the concept ‘shoe porn’ but this may be my first time to use the term ‘bag porn’. And it’s worth it – all $2,850 of it.

The briefcase took years to design and source. It is formed of aircraft grade aluminum, covered in full grain leather and made entirely by hand to maintain quality and precision.  It’s rigid outer shell and patented design provide outstanding protection for its contents, while it’s classic lines and quality components create a definitive statement accessory for any discerning gentleman. And just like a discerning gentleman, it will only get better with age.

Christian has been a cultural and style junkie since the age of 6; while most kids were swiping cookies, he was swiping his grandfathers' Patek Philippe. Raised to appreciate art, fashion, design and  literature (yeah, this one actually reads) by a single mother fondly called Jackie-O. Christian quickly went from childhood cultural capital thief to academia protégé. Referred to as the cat's meow by some, too clever by half by others, Christian eschewed the academic life and ran away to join the circus -the fashion circus. Several well-appointed positions later and a career on the rise would be most people's dream but it was time to say fuck off and start all over again.

This is Christian Dare Unedited.
