I am a big fan of using Kombucha in my cocktails; they add a complex flavour profile with very little work on my part. Added bonus? I can pretend I am drinking something healthy (even though it has a healthy dose of gin in it.)
My new go-to kombucha is from a brand called RISE. I love that their kombucha has a great sweet sour balance and none of that strong vinegary tastes that come with some kombuchas. It is perfectly balanced and oh-so delicious. Their new collection of 1G kombuchas also comes with only one gram of sugar…healthier, right?
This cocktail, Vitamin Sea, calls for RISE 1g Kiwi and Pineapple; a sweet yet tart combination for a tropical punch flavour. And I must admit, this combination of flavours make for a perfect summery drink.
So why not try this easy yet delicious summer cocktail or yourself?
Ingredients:
1oz (30ml) gin
¼ oz (7.5ml) fresh lemon juice
2 fresh mint sprigs
5oz (150ml) RISE 1g – Kiwi & Pineapple
Ice

Mixing Glass | Citrus Squeezer | Mixing Spoon | Hawthorne Strainer
Directions:
Step One: Combine 1oz. gin, 1/4 oz. fresh squeezed lemon juice and sprigs of mint into a mixing glass filled with ice.
Step Two: Add 5 oz. kombucha and stir well with a bar spoon.
Step Three: Strain mixture into a glass with fresh ice.
Step Four: Garnish with lemon wedge and mint sprig.
Step Five: Enjoy.
