I am always on the hunt for unique pieces to add into my home (or a clients home). And often that great piece is found at a flea market or a great antique store in some small town I happen to be driving through. But it is often a hunt. Morever, many of these trips turn up empty handed. It is an endless feat. And i have learned over the years to just buy pieces I love when I see them, even if I do not have a home for them yet. Now I know that since design is an intrinsic part of my life (duh, it’s my job), I have the time (and luxury) to always be on the lookout for furniture and accessories. And I know this is not the case for everyone.
