Make no mistake, there is no typo in the title. I know that the traditional gin based cocktail is called a Tom Collins but this one is made with whisky. This is a riff on the classic and comes from Collingwood Whisky , hence the name Tom Collingwood. And I must say that the swap from gin to whisky is delicious. It’s warmer, it’s smoother. It’s perfection. So here’s how to make one.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Collingwood Whisky
- 1.5 oz simple syrup
- 2 oz lemon juice
- 2 oz soda
Directions
- Mix Collingwood, simple syrup and lemon juice in a highball glass with ice.
- Top with soda water, garnish with a lemon wedge.
- Enjoy.
- Repeat.
