I’m in Love with the Coco

product-4

People have always told me I have great hair (and no, this is not a humble brag). And although I am sure I owe some of that to good genes. Most people don’t realize it also takes work (and no, this is not me complaining about the stress of good hair). So you always have to be on the lookout for good products. In a playing field that seems to become even more overcrowded everyday, it is hard to find the products that truly rise to the top. So to help you all out – here is one of them – NiuCoco  That’s why I am in love with the Coco.

I had a chance to try out their new line of hair care products that includes shampoo, conditioner and a renewing hair serum. All the products have been created using cold pressed coconut oil (a natural source of Vitamin E) – which naturally hydrates your hair and scalp. Coconut is also known to smooth the hair follicle, boost natural color and shine, and bring hair back to health (even my processed blonde felt better). NIUCOCO products are sulfate-free, paraben-free, phthalate-free, and gluten-free. They are also 100% vegan and contain no artificial fragrances making them safe for daily use. And it all smells amazing.

Now that you know the facts, here is what I found. After using the product my hair felt healthier, shinier and easier to style. It also never felt weighted down. I could easily use this shampoo everyday. Here is one tip I cannot stress enough while using the product – make sure you shake the shampoo really well. It is all natural, so it can separate while sitting. And the serum is amazing at keep your hair under control in the humidity.

Trust me, your hair will thank you in the end. And yeah, the website for the brand is very female focused but guys you want in on this too…this stuff is quickly gaining a cult like follow. And why not join a cult if it means perfect hair?

Christian has been a cultural and style junkie since the age of 6; while most kids were swiping cookies, he was swiping his grandfathers' Patek Philippe. Raised to appreciate art, fashion, design and  literature (yeah, this one actually reads) by a single mother fondly called Jackie-O. Christian quickly went from childhood cultural capital thief to academia protégé. Referred to as the cat's meow by some, too clever by half by others, Christian eschewed the academic life and ran away to join the circus -the fashion circus. Several well-appointed positions later and a career on the rise would be most people's dream but it was time to say fuck off and start all over again.

This is Christian Dare Unedited.
