I am all for anyone who wants to promote Canadian fashion – especially menswear. During its inaugural season, TOM will showcase some of Canada’s established and emerging designers. To help promote designers, TOM has waived all designer fees for the first season, which is a great help to newer labels.
TOM has an impressive first time roster of Menswear Designers, sadly missing from the list are Canadian greats like Philip Sparks, Bustle, Travis Taddeo, Philippe Dubuc … TOM will need buy in from these designers in the upcoming seasons to establish itself as the fashion week for menswear in Canada. But for their first season, they definitely have some designers to check out. Below are some of some of my favourites and my ones-to-watch.
