It’s been a week since I left New Orleans but it is never far from my heart or my drink. If you haven’t tried a Vieux Carré , you really must. It was made in and named after the French Quarter, the Vieux Carré traces its origin to the Carousel Bar back in the 1930s. It’s rich and decadent and it goes down easy.
