I have always been a huge fan of COMME des GARCONS fragrances. There is always something interesting and unexpected in the notes they choose to explore – some call it weird, I call it wonderful. To add to their ever-expanding fragrance line, the garcons have come up with Blackpepper.
Described as “an electric collision of molecules: the crash of spicy pepper seeds suspended within infinite darkness.” The scent features notes of dry Madagascan pepper, cedarwood and akigalawood – which comprises patchouli and agarwood. These have been blended with the caramel resin of tonka bean, resulting in a very smoky wood scent that’s softened with a musky accord. It’s wood. It’s smokey. It’s pepper. It’s perfection
