Enter the adidas Originals Pro Model GTX. This shoe is a sneaker-boot hybrid based on the Superstar sneaker. The folks at adidas made this sneaker-boot by combining the legendary shoe’s shell-toe design of the Superstar and giving it some cold weather proofing, then adding a rugged outsole, a GORE-TEX-powered upper, metal lace lugs and rope laces, creating the Pro Model GTX. It’s the street answer to all those hiking boots from high end designers that have been all over the runway the past few seasons.
