Levi’s Air Jordan: Dope Denim Drops Jan17th

Levi’s® and Jordan Brand are together again for one of the tightest capsule collections you have ever seen – a jacket and a shoe. But what the capsule lacks in breadth it more than makes up for in cool factor.

“The inspiration is two iconic brands coming together and there’s a lot of energy around both brands at the moment so it’s a great time to collaborate,” says Steven Burns, Levi’s® global design director for men’s bottoms. “The details of the shoes and jackets share the same denim, the same wash, the same threads, the same weight. I like that idea of technical sport apparel mixed with our authentic heritage because it gives it a different kind of edge.”

Levi’s® x Air Jordans IV

I am all about this shoe. I love a good denim kick and sadly they are hard to find. Snap this one up to add to your collection. Based on the legendary Jordan IVs, these prewashed, indigo beauties take advantage of warp and weft threading to give the dark-to-light contrast of classic dark denim with a light cuff. A signature Jumpman logo leather patch hangs over the laces.

Price: $300 CAD

Available via: Livestock Toronto  and Capsule.

Levi’s® x Jordan Reversible Trucker Jacket

The Jordan Reversible Trucker Jacket combines our iconic denim Trucker with the crinkle taffeta of the classic Jordan warm-up suit. Worn denim out, red taffeta is stitched into underarm panels for a peek-a-boo flash of color. Meanwhile, the back is adorned with a lightly distressed, silicone raised Flight logo. Reverse it out and you’ve got a perforated, black, crinkle taffeta jacket with a denim accented collar and the Jumpman Flight logo emblazoned on the back.

Customized in all details, the dark-copper shank buttons are co-branded along with the paper patch on the back hem and attached tag.

Price: $198 CAD

Available via: Livestock Toronto and  Levi’s® Yorkdale location

Christian has been a cultural and style junkie since the age of 6; while most kids were swiping cookies, he was swiping his grandfathers' Patek Philippe. Raised to appreciate art, fashion, design and  literature (yeah, this one actually reads) by a single mother fondly called Jackie-O. Christian quickly went from childhood cultural capital thief to academia protégé. Referred to as the cat's meow by some, too clever by half by others, Christian eschewed the academic life and ran away to join the circus -the fashion circus. Several well-appointed positions later and a career on the rise would be most people's dream but it was time to say fuck off and start all over again.

This is Christian Dare Unedited.
