Fred Segal x CB2

I don’t always love LA but I always love Fred. Fred has been a design icon in LA for years. Fred practically embodies cool west coast design/fashion. If you have been to LA then you know who I am talking about. Fred. Fred. Fred? Fred who? Well if you don’t know Fred then I am not sure we can still be friends.

Fred Segal has partnered up with one of my favourite affordable design stores, CB2 on a line of home furnishings. The collection is aptly called the Venice Studio Collection and features an array of luxe casual furniture and home decor. Catch pops of the brand’s signature denim designs on pillows, cushions and upholstery. Vintage-inspired mixed materials give desks, dressers and chests an upscale look. The collection is chalk full of whimsical shapes and modern designs. Here are some of my favourite pieces.

I think I have found the perfect piece of furniture for my watch and accessories collection. Designed as an artist’s style filing cabinet, this piece would be perfect in any room.

We may have reached peak pineapple but who cares – this beauty is fresh cut and full of whimsy and feels like a great flea market find. Everyone needs another pineapple in their house.

Just because it looks like an amazing chic wig as light pendant

Christian has been a cultural and style junkie since the age of 6; while most kids were swiping cookies, he was swiping his grandfathers' Patek Philippe. Raised to appreciate art, fashion, design and  literature (yeah, this one actually reads) by a single mother fondly called Jackie-O. Christian quickly went from childhood cultural capital thief to academia protégé. Referred to as the cat's meow by some, too clever by half by others, Christian eschewed the academic life and ran away to join the circus -the fashion circus. Several well-appointed positions later and a career on the rise would be most people's dream but it was time to say fuck off and start all over again.

This is Christian Dare Unedited.
