New Balance 574S Classics

It may seem like we are the midst of the return of the 90s but everything old is always already new again. Classics never go out of style no matter what era. You could call me biased in terms of New Balance – Perhaps, it’s from visiting the factory when I was a kid. Perhaps, it’s nostalgia. But maybe they are just great shoes. Enter the classic 574 from New Balance that was first launched in the 1980s. It’s back and updated for today.

The update on the classic 574S style comes with a more youthful and fresh feel. The new 574 Sport remixes the original New Balance 574 with a premium suede and mesh upper and mid-cut bootie construction. And for plush comfort and a sleek look, this men’s sneaker features the brand’s signature Fresh Foam cushioning.

It comes in two neutral colour ways – the perfect light neutral and all black neutral (with a hit of red).  Bet you can’t just pick one? So get both. Both are $169.99

Christian has been a cultural and style junkie since the age of 6; while most kids were swiping cookies, he was swiping his grandfathers' Patek Philippe. Raised to appreciate art, fashion, design and  literature (yeah, this one actually reads) by a single mother fondly called Jackie-O. Christian quickly went from childhood cultural capital thief to academia protégé. Referred to as the cat's meow by some, too clever by half by others, Christian eschewed the academic life and ran away to join the circus -the fashion circus. Several well-appointed positions later and a career on the rise would be most people's dream but it was time to say fuck off and start all over again.

This is Christian Dare Unedited.
