Wooster x GREATS x Lardini

We love Nick Wooster. From his silver fox status to his great style (personal and interior). So we are always happy to see his design hand at collaborations. The latest comes from shoe brand GREATS, and Lardini (Heritage Menswear brand) with the signature Wooster influence. This time around we are treated to a mismatched pair of slip-ons. It feels like a pair of CDG shoes I own. I am okay with that. In fact, I LOVE!

Wooster shows off his menswear chops with the use of a classic blue Linton tweed – it feels a bit Chanel because this is a fabric Chanel has used for over 100 years. The interesting twist comes from the fact that the patterns are reversed on the upper of each shoe. GREATS’ traditional Margom outsole has been elevated, while tri-branding can be found along the inner lining to coincide with the footwear label’s signature bar-tack stitch across the heel cup.

The Greats x Wooster x Lardini  for Spring/Summer 2016 will be available exclusively through the GREATS website on Thursday, May 26. Get yours before they are gone.

Christian has been a cultural and style junkie since the age of 6; while most kids were swiping cookies, he was swiping his grandfathers' Patek Philippe. Raised to appreciate art, fashion, design and  literature (yeah, this one actually reads) by a single mother fondly called Jackie-O. Christian quickly went from childhood cultural capital thief to academia protégé. Referred to as the cat's meow by some, too clever by half by others, Christian eschewed the academic life and ran away to join the circus -the fashion circus. Several well-appointed positions later and a career on the rise would be most people's dream but it was time to say fuck off and start all over again.

This is Christian Dare Unedited.
