One of my favourite boots when I was a younger was a pair of duck boots from L.L. Bean. They were not cool – they were not in at the time but I loved them. They are still a classic in my world and this year I finally invested in a new pair (I went for the 8″ over the 6″ – bigger is always better). The ‘bean boot’ has been handmade for since 1912 in Maine – in fact the bean boot launched the company (it was the only product they made at the time). The brand still maintains the same high quality standard – so turn around time can take a few days. And remember, stock is limited – especially now that Kanye wears them. Pair shown, $139
