Even in major urban centres it can be hard for men to find the clothing they are looking for; I often turn to some of my online shopping staples – Mr. Porter, SSense and Forward by Elyse Walker for well curated menswear. But as of April 2015, we now have a new option, Boys’Co Online.
Boys’Co Online is the natural extension of the Boys’Co chain of stores (count ’em 4 in Vancouver) that has been family run by father and son (David & Sam Goldman) for over 30 years. As of this April they have taken their business online to allow the rest of the world to enjoy their unique shopping experience. The online shop carries notable brands such as: Comme des Garcons diffusion line Play; Fred Perry; Herschel; Boy London; Naked & Famous Denim from Montreal; Red Wing Heritage boots; great shoes from Rivieras; and everyone’s favourite Australian import – Zanerobe.
The selection is tight and well curated. And offers some brands that you cannot easily find elsewhere. I was quickly drawn to the outerwear from Workshop (made in Canada) and Rains.

And of course, I couldn’t not talk about their shoe selection. Great boots from the go-to classics, Red Wing Heritage brand. But also some great shoes from the sometimes hard to find Rivieras – my personal favourite plim sole for summer. And a new upstart, People Footwear; their take on a classic chuck in breathable mesh might just be my next favourite summer staple.
