Florals for Summer? Groundbreaking

940x320q80

Nike has launched it’s latest collection – the Blazer Floral Collection. The collection features three designs, each depicting an all-over floral print inspired by specific city.

The first pair draws inspiration from Los Angeles with an explosive birds-of-paradise print, a not-so-subtle nod to the sunny weather that fosters the beautiful plant’s growth. Additionally, the Chicago-inspired pair features chrysanthemums, the official flower of the Windy City. To complete the coast-to-coast travel, the New York City-inspired pair employs an all-over dandelion print, a symbolic reference to wishful thinking and the quick pace of the city. Or the dirty/seedy nature of the city? Either way I would go with LA, yes I just chose LA or NYC, you can shoot me now.

Christian has been a cultural and style junkie since the age of 6; while most kids were swiping cookies, he was swiping his grandfathers' Patek Philippe. Raised to appreciate art, fashion, design and  literature (yeah, this one actually reads) by a single mother fondly called Jackie-O. Christian quickly went from childhood cultural capital thief to academia protégé. Referred to as the cat's meow by some, too clever by half by others, Christian eschewed the academic life and ran away to join the circus -the fashion circus. Several well-appointed positions later and a career on the rise would be most people's dream but it was time to say fuck off and start all over again.

This is Christian Dare Unedited.
