Everyone knows that I do not write about restaurants, there are enough kiss ass blogs out there that love all the free food they can get it. This isn’t one of them.
But I will take a free drink. So guess what? It’s Negroni Week; one of my favourite classic cocktails now has a whole week (June 2-8) dedicated to itself. Bars and restaurants around the world will be participating in the week and not just in the name of good drinking but also good charity. All participating bars will be donating $1 from the sale of each Negroni to the charity of their choice. The restaurant or bar that raises the most will earn an additional $10,000 to their chosen cause. You know I can’t say no to a good cocktail or good charity.
