Yes, I agree the name is terrible but the new hybrid bike from Cannondale, the Bad Boy I is one mighty fine Bad Boy of a bike. It’s a beauty. Its stealth black look features just a few notes of the classic rainbow colors (referencing its reigning champ status) and combined with internal cable gives the bike a sleek profile. The bike also features a rechargeable front light built directly into the handlebar and highly reflective paint distributed throughout the frame.

The bike features all the top of the line features you would expect to find on a Cannondale bike but what makes this bike stand out is the asymmetrical fork – that’s right the fork only goes down one side of the front wheel. This hybrid performs well in the city and unlike most of those matte black hipster fixies, this one actually is fun to ride (and has gears). All this is to say this bike is the perfect bike form the “Urban Design Forward Male” (yes, I just used that term), just make sure you get a good lock, this bike screams steal me. And at $1800 a pop, losing one would be an expensive lesson.

Christian has been a cultural and style junkie since the age of 6; while most kids were swiping cookies, he was swiping his grandfathers' Patek Philippe. Raised to appreciate art, fashion, design and  literature (yeah, this one actually reads) by a single mother fondly called Jackie-O. Christian quickly went from childhood cultural capital thief to academia protégé. Referred to as the cat's meow by some, too clever by half by others, Christian eschewed the academic life and ran away to join the circus -the fashion circus. Several well-appointed positions later and a career on the rise would be most people's dream but it was time to say fuck off and start all over again.

This is Christian Dare Unedited.
