Rei Kawakubo ‘s reach knows no boundaries. Although her brand, Comme des Garcons had absolutely no part in the new Nike NYC City Pack, it looks like a Rei knock off to me. Yes, I said it, Comme des Garcons owns the polka dot as much as Burberry owns their signature plaid. Disagree? Fuck off.
I love the bold all over polka dot pattern and the addition of the suede boat style laces (although I would switch them out to something more colourful or classic black). “NYC” City Pack releases on May 16 at Nike.com.
