Matiere is a new luxury menswear brand that has just launched its Spring/Summer 2014 collection. The brand’s founders, Scot Shandalove and Jake Zeitlin both come from backgrounds in menswear, working with brands like Burton and Vans. But I dare say that they have taken those brands street style sensibility and taken it to a more sophisticated luxurious level. Yes, that is to say that this is another ‘luxury’ line of dropped joggers, t shirts, casual shorts, and button-ups. They seem to excel in the bottoms categories: great dropped crotch joggers and some pretty sick shorts.
