Black not Boring

I am often asked how can someone own so many black shirts that all look the same. And how can someone own so many black shoes that look the same. Simple. They aren’t the same my dear. It’s the details that set them apart. They are black but never boring.

Mr Porter has teamed up with Grenson shoes and six London based menswear designers to produce an exclusive footwear collection. Agi & Sam, Craig Green, Christopher Raeburn, Matthew Miller, Katie Eary and Sibling have applied their signature aesthetics to a small range of boots, brogues and loafers for this collection. I will be honest, some are meh. There I said it. But you can be guaranteed that they will be well made and last you a lifetime, I have owned many pairs of Grenson and they are still one of my go-to brands.

These three black pairs are anything but boring. Available now

Christian has been a cultural and style junkie since the age of 6; while most kids were swiping cookies, he was swiping his grandfathers' Patek Philippe. Raised to appreciate art, fashion, design and  literature (yeah, this one actually reads) by a single mother fondly called Jackie-O. Christian quickly went from childhood cultural capital thief to academia protégé. Referred to as the cat's meow by some, too clever by half by others, Christian eschewed the academic life and ran away to join the circus -the fashion circus. Several well-appointed positions later and a career on the rise would be most people's dream but it was time to say fuck off and start all over again.

This is Christian Dare Unedited.
