Sometimes my newest fashion finds come to me in the strangest ways. First, I spotted these random swim shorts in the wrong section of the Hudson Bay Company. They were bright and beautiful but looked so lost amongst the black suiting department, so I had to peak inside and see whom they belonged to. onia. And then this morning, a friend of mine, who also seems to have an obsessions with printed swimwear, posted a link to the same trunks. Fashion serendipity? Zeitgeist? I doubt it, but thanks to onia, we don’t have to suffer in  boring swim trunks like our Dads used to wear.

onia is known for it’s high quality construction and amazing prints, they have even partnered with Liberty London on several occasions with limited editions and this season is no different. Now I just have to pick out a print or two, that will be the hard part, for my next trip south. Prices range from $130-$195 and are available online.

Christian has been a cultural and style junkie since the age of 6; while most kids were swiping cookies, he was swiping his grandfathers' Patek Philippe. Raised to appreciate art, fashion, design and  literature (yeah, this one actually reads) by a single mother fondly called Jackie-O. Christian quickly went from childhood cultural capital thief to academia protégé. Referred to as the cat's meow by some, too clever by half by others, Christian eschewed the academic life and ran away to join the circus -the fashion circus. Several well-appointed positions later and a career on the rise would be most people's dream but it was time to say fuck off and start all over again.

This is Christian Dare Unedited.
