I am always for bare floors, especially in the summer but for the winter you should roll out a carpet. It not only warms up your feet but also your space. Trouble is, I have always had great difficult in finding the perfect rug – most are either too plain or just too much. And quite frankly most ‘modern’ print rugs look cheap (ie too IKEA). Enter Paul Smith – the lord of menswear prints (yes, I just appointed him that) and his longstanding relationship with The Rug Company.
