Steven Alan goes Home

Men shirting and suiting has become quite the trend in interior design lately, in fact, I would argue that men’s suiting and shirting has become a new classic for bed linens – especially for a man who wants a well put together bedroom that still comes off as ‘manly’. Even I own a charcoal wool pinstripe duvet cover. So instead of buying shirting inspired bed linens from textile designers, why not buy them for a well know men’s shirt designer – Steven Alan.

Steven Alan, known for his laid-back California inspired men’s shirting, has teamed up with West Elm to bring a line of home accessories – bed linens, throw pillow and vases. The bedding and pillows are a hit – the vases are definitely a miss. Available now.

Christian has been a cultural and style junkie since the age of 6; while most kids were swiping cookies, he was swiping his grandfathers' Patek Philippe. Raised to appreciate art, fashion, design and  literature (yeah, this one actually reads) by a single mother fondly called Jackie-O. Christian quickly went from childhood cultural capital thief to academia protégé. Referred to as the cat's meow by some, too clever by half by others, Christian eschewed the academic life and ran away to join the circus -the fashion circus. Several well-appointed positions later and a career on the rise would be most people's dream but it was time to say fuck off and start all over again.

This is Christian Dare Unedited.
