I know you have heard me say this many times before but Adidas has just launched another sweet collaboration with a great designer – Adidas by Tom Dixon Capsule collection for SS14 is sweet. If you don’t know Tom Dixon, you really should. He is a renowned British designer; working in the industrial design field not fashion. But his debut collection, in partnership between the sportswear giant is a great start. The ‘Capsule‘ collection features a collection of multi-functional garments and accessories; inspired by the idea of being able to survive a week on a trip with only one bag. All the items have multiple purposes and uses. Dixon was inspired by his real life circumstances – he was unable to find a hotel one night in Milan and had to sleep on a park bench. The real stars of the collection is the Navy Packable Tote and the Navy Packable Backpack. What can I say, the buttery navy leather and copper hardware won me over. Although there is a pretty sick shirt, some great boots and a reversible jacket that is mint.
