DROPcrotch

Every man should own a pair of drop crotch pants.   Most men should not wear dropped crotch pants. I know every high street store from H&M to Zara seems to be hawking the trousers to the masses – tempting you to try. But I warn you – most of you shouldn’t be wearing them. They are a tricky beast that can easily go wrong. IF, and only IF, you know you can rock them – you should stick to the classics, Comme des Garçons. CDG has perfected the wool deep dropped crotch trousers – and this pair is pretty near perfect. The trick to rocking these trousers is proportions; if you are going to wear an over-sized pant, you must wear it with a fairly fitted top. This look works best when your top almost looks shrunken (or if you are model thin – you can rock it with an oversized XXL t-shirt) I would probably wear mine with brogues or monk straps and no socks. Christian has been a cultural and style junkie since the age of 6; while most kids were swiping cookies, he was swiping his grandfathers' Patek Philippe. Raised to appreciate art, fashion, design and  literature (yeah, this one actually reads) by a single mother fondly called Jackie-O. Christian quickly went from childhood cultural capital thief to academia protégé. Referred to as the cat's meow by some, too clever by half by others, Christian eschewed the academic life and ran away to join the circus -the fashion circus. Several well-appointed positions later and a career on the rise would be most people's dream but it was time to say fuck off and start all over again.

This is Christian Dare Unedited.
