BUSTLEhustle

As most people know I stay away from colour and pattern for almost all things in fashion. There are a few exceptions of course – accessories and shorts (and occasionally, trousers) are allowed to be colourful and patterned. Bustle‘s SS14 show at WMCFW was full  of bright prints and colour – and if you can wear it – you should rock it. But for the rest of us that are colour/print shy, here are my picks.

The perfect colour blocked tone on tone shorts.

I love patterned shorts – especially florals (or geometrics).

This shade of blue is a new menswear staple – buy them. The patterned shirt is pretty sick too.

These trousers are everything – too much? Grow some.

Note: The wood sunglasses are by Custom Projects which I featured earlier this week.

Christian has been a cultural and style junkie since the age of 6; while most kids were swiping cookies, he was swiping his grandfathers' Patek Philippe. Raised to appreciate art, fashion, design and  literature (yeah, this one actually reads) by a single mother fondly called Jackie-O. Christian quickly went from childhood cultural capital thief to academia protégé. Referred to as the cat's meow by some, too clever by half by others, Christian eschewed the academic life and ran away to join the circus -the fashion circus. Several well-appointed positions later and a career on the rise would be most people's dream but it was time to say fuck off and start all over again.

This is Christian Dare Unedited.
