There are many things you can learn from the runways of New York Fashion week (the latest trends for Spring 2014 perhaps) but the real lessons are learnt on the streets of NYC. Lesson #1 : You should own a man clutch. Many brands have launched them recently with the name leather pouch – maybe this is supposed to sound more manly. But a pouch never sounded very manly to me. Just suck it up – it’s a clutch. You should be comfortable enough with your masculinity to own one. I have been carrying one for years.
My long time trusted go-to Man Clutch is by M0851. Which they seem to not produce anymore – thank god I bought them in every colour. But for the rest of you – you can settle for Balenciaga (which I will probably also buy). Keep in mind – the larger the better. The upside – no unsightly cellphone and wallet bulges in your slim trouser pockets. Other bulges are more important.
