I am sure you all know the brand Supreme. But do you know that they are suing another brand for ‘knocking them off’, which always amuses me since their logo is obviously inspired by the work of Barbara Kruger (look her up). She has even commented on their recent lawsuit against another designer. See her reply: ImageWith all that in mind – I am sure Kruger would love the new hats from Mark McNairy, who has recently collaborated with Japanese retailer Heather Grey Wall. The New Era “Inferior” snapback cap is a 6-panel adjustable snapback featuring an embroidered “Inferior” graphic.  I know I will now buy Mark’s hat and wear it in spite – those poor uncool jokers.ImageImageAvailable now in denim or wool.

Christian has been a cultural and style junkie since the age of 6; while most kids were swiping cookies, he was swiping his grandfathers' Patek Philippe. Raised to appreciate art, fashion, design and  literature (yeah, this one actually reads) by a single mother fondly called Jackie-O. Christian quickly went from childhood cultural capital thief to academia protégé. Referred to as the cat's meow by some, too clever by half by others, Christian eschewed the academic life and ran away to join the circus -the fashion circus. Several well-appointed positions later and a career on the rise would be most people's dream but it was time to say fuck off and start all over again.

This is Christian Dare Unedited.
