Christopher is a NYC based artist that has created a line of t-shirts that have become favourites of the fashion community. Anna Piaggi has eve been spotted wearing her own t-shirt.
While his previous work has often been inspired by the global fashion community, his recent work has taken a political turn. With recent events in Russia, CHRISTOPHER LEE SAUVÉ has launched his own sort of protest in the form of t-shirts. Christopher Lee Sauvé, along with artist Tubby Lambergini, have created a graphic of Russian President Vladimir Putin, in pink, with lipstick and eye makeup with the words FREE RUSSIA. But Christopher isn’t simply trying to raise money off this protest, rather he says: “I encourage you to take this graphic and create posters, stencils, flags and spread it online” . He has also set up a shop where you can purchase tee shirts, bags, tank tops, hoodies and posters with all the proceeds going to the The Center, in NYC.
